Logline Studio develops local-first desktop software. The core principle is that user data remains on the user’s device whenever possible.

2. Software products (Logline Desk & Logline Portfolio)

Logline Desk and Logline Portfolio are local-first desktop applications.

All user data processed by the software — including but not limited to projects, clients, invoices, trades, dividends, tax data, and imported PDF documents — is stored exclusively on the user’s local computer.

Logline Studio:

  • does not transmit user data to external servers
  • does not collect personal data through the software
  • does not use cloud storage, analytics, or tracking within the applications

All data processing takes place locally on the user’s device.

3. Website usage

The Logline Studio website does not use tracking technologies, analytics services, advertising cookies, or profiling tools.

Only technically necessary data (such as server log files) may be processed by the hosting provider to ensure the security and proper functioning of the website. This data typically includes:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system
  • date and time of access

This data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest and is not used to identify individual users.

5. Payments and licensing

Payments and license management for Logline Studio products are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record.

During the purchase process, personal data such as name, email address, billing address, and payment details may be processed by Lemon Squeezy.

Logline Studio does not receive or store payment details.
